Funerals

Funerals

It's never easy to lose a loved one. Your parish family at St. Michael the Archangel is here for you in your time of need.

When a person passes away, please contact the Parish Office as soon as is feasible.

Persons in the Funeral Ministry may serve as sacristans for the Funeral Mass. This is of great help to the priest as he prepares for the funeral liturgy.

If you are requesting a funeral dinner, please let us know the approximate number of guests who will attend. Parishioners provide salads, pies and cake. The parish furnishes the meat, bread and beverages. We do not charge for the meal, but request a donation be made, if possible.

If you feel called to serve in the Funeral Ministry, we always need volunteers to help set up, cook, serve, and clean up the meal. If you're unable to work the meal, volunteers are also needed to send in food. Let the Office know if you are able to be called on a rotating basis.
