Religious Education

Children in Pre-school through 8th grade attend Religious Education (R.E.). Classes meet three times a month, September to April. Students learn about the beauty of our Catholic faith through catechetical instruction, take part in service projects, pray the Stations of the Cross, receive the Sacrament
of Reconciliation, pray the Rosary, interact with saints from the past (as acted out by our Life Teen students), celebrate our patron saint, and more! Dedicated catechists from our parish instruct students and serve as witnesses to their faith. Come learn with us as we grow in the love of Christ! 

Our R.E. program also serves as the main form of contact for our children's ministry activities. Contact us to get involved, have some fun, and grow as a parish family! We offer a Christmas Eve Narrative, Youth Choir, and more! Information for special events will go home with students throughout the school year.

The OSV Faith Guidebooks are used for grades 7 and 8, along with the Theology of the Body curriculum, and Chosen series for Confirmation prep. Please see the Confirmation page for more info!

Preschool through 8th grade - Three Sundays a month, 9:00-10:15 a.m.
September-April
Grades 9-12: Life Teen is the Rel. Ed. for ALL high school students.  
- H.S. students meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 11:30-1:30, September-April

Ministry Assistance

Faith Formation is an ongoing process involving the entire family. We are always in need of assistance. Please indicate the areas in which you may be able to assist in this ministry. We will be sure to use your talents at the same day and time as your child/children.

  • Catechist (teacher)
  • Teacher aide
  • Substitute teacher
  • Help with seasonal activities
  • Adult Prayer Lamb for 2nd Graders
  • Bake cookies for receptions & meetings
You only need to fill out this form to register your child/children the first time or to update information. Each year, your child will simply be promoted to the next grade level.
